Okay fellas John has the UDSSR version so I get the cool sand camo one . Just trying to find some ref pics now . Anyhow, after listen to John and his experience with parts C2/4 I just pushed them into place without any glue what-so-ever . Even that was a scary thing as the fit is more than tight . Here's a few piccies for yaz . Being a very small kit it has some ferkin huge casting blocks . Pulled level with ya John . More soon hopefully Nice work Paul ! I might have some captured IDF photos somewhere... can't be sure. I also had some troubles cutting the drive sprocket parts 22 & 23 I think.. the parts are very very small and I might have damaged some teeth.. I will work soon on the B7 / D29, front suspension ..

Those would be very cool for sure . If not then not , I'll stick to the box colour scheme for a change . As for the sprockets, yep I have seen that they're fragile to say the least .

Less than a 100 parts?? You finished yet?
I dunno about the desert scheme Paul, what yer SHOULD be doing is recreating the uber-cool parachute pallet with the bracketry and tie-downs

Here they are. It's a 4 part suspension at the front, I managed to glue it all but.. - Glue B7 and B9 before attaching the D28/29+ B1 + B15 ( arm section ) The B11 little rollers are easily damaged when removing them from the sprue...very easily. Also I managed to break the top hull big part in a stupid thing ... I usually open the plastic bags with a blade, but no, this time I ripped the plastic with my hands because it was late and I was a bit tired and just wanted to clean up the plastic... the strengh used on the bag was enough to snap one of the sides ... usong some Tamyia glue and CA I managed to but it back but I will need some cleaning up later on. Will let it rest for a couple of days.

So I'm guessing that means no pallet?

So I'm guessing that means no pallet? Jeff, I was thinking about that for a diorama depicting that last photo I posted, but there aren't any Antonov An-12 in 1:35 scale... so with that problem, i can't do the pallet version I'm sure Marco and Nemo can try doing a pallet version without the An-12 and the crew getting ready to take off...

The idea of it sitting on the pallet would be most interesting indeed .

Right then time to put things straight here, defo no pallet . I'm saving all my scratching powers for a project that will start soon . Anyway before John thinks I've gone AWOL on him , it's time to get a tad more done on this little beauty . Got the hull together and the gun this afternoon , I have left the ammo stowage off till later for the sake of painting . More soon fellas, ACW
