Chaps I have been slackin' a tad this last week, but we now have an update here . I have most of the build done, still a few bits to add or maybe change. I have almost completed the turret, the big fail here are the smoke grenade dischargers. The kit ones are totally wrong, AFV will have you mount them with 4 pods on the side of the turret. They should be 3 on the front, left and right of the mantlet. I have also added cushions to the hatches and tie downs around the stowage bins. The kit barrel will stay, to this I added a shroud and also filed down the counter weight at the front. The drivers and commanders vision gear had some sink marks in the middle, I'm trying to counter these with Humbrol clear, instead of filling and sanding. Hopefully I can complete the build stage tomorrow and maybe even get some primer on there As always ACACW

excellent work Paul, those dischargers look miles better with the proper configuration. The crew look good too, really suits the build.

Cheers Pete mucker . There are one or two other things I couldn't be bothered about, will tell you about them in Belgium A guess would be the front engine deck grills which on early scorpion were flush not raised, rear hull bin canvas & the size of the rear turret bin?

Really coming along nicely Paul. There's a few bits of old British armour not far from where I'm staying.

Those are a few Pete, one biggy is the turret frontal armour. The bugger is about 2mm short in width, and the stowage bins left and right of the turret are missing . Cheers Joe, if you get a chance go take some pics for us
