Those are a few Pete, one biggy is the turret frontal armour. The bugger is about 2mm short in width, and the stowage bins left and right of the turret are missing . Cheers Joe, if you get a chance go take some pics for us Will do Paul. I've taken a few, but I'm only piggy backing off my mobile internet and it can't cope. I might have to wait until I get home.

Chaps I am as far as I go with this now . Still got the running gear sort out, but I can't do that until the tracks arrive . Hopefully they'll be here next week. Also I'm still waiting for the Humbrol clear to set on the vision blocks, and still have to add the antenna and wing mirrors .

Nicely detailed Paul. It will look great with the tracks and oth r bits and pieces added.
Just had a look at the photos I took. I'm no expert, but it looks like there are three Chieftains, and seven Scorpions all looking rather sorry for themselves.

All caught up now Paul. The improvements are just that and look great.
I’m hoping the Humbrol Clear sets for you, mine didn’t....

Nice looking model, reminds me of a Merkava, engine before the crew compartment? I read every where that that's the great point of the Merkava, so thought they were the first to do that, but as this model is older, I think they just copied it?

Another great build so far, with nice looking improvements like the cushions, they are a lovely touch. A shine gun barrel guarantees a head start, just love it. I'm a WW2 tank builder and slowly you, Pete, Marco and many other guys seem to push me towards the post WW2 vehicle kits.

Steve, cheers mucker . It looks like the clear has set, it's been almost a week now so bloody well should have Bert, thank you sire . As for the Merkava idea, well I don't think they did copy that. The first Merkava prototype was after all a rebuilt Cent . commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Merkava-prototype-latrun-2.jpgTerry, very much appreciated ole chap . Thank you for clearing up the smoke pod thing, didn't realize they mixed on from vehicle to vehicle. Guy, my dear neighbour I thank you kindly . Also willing to take the blame for your venturing out into Post-war madness
