Awesome stuff Paul, those tracks look the biz and make a big difference to the look of the model. Boots i used MMK fencing for the Humvee dio but you can use anything really. Fine wedding veil material would work or as Paul says eduard etc will do etch stuff that would suit. I just made the posts from stock plastic square sections.

The Scorp is looking awesome Paul. I may have missed this but after you primed and add the shadow on the figures how did you apply the base color...Brush or Airbrush?

Pin wash has gone a treat. The detailing on the rear cargo boxes look amazing.
Nice shadows around the eye sockets, too.

Thank you all very kindly chaps . Your praise with the figures really helped along with them, and I'm enjoying painting these dudes up . I have done a tad more today, wiring an mikes have been added, and the heads joined up with bodies, just got to sort the hands out and they'll be done . More soon chaps

The figures look superb Paul. Did you go for an acrylic or oil approach? Not that important, these three rock, The flesh tones and the depth in their faces are top!!! I've tried acrylics before but you'll have to come over to my place to teach me properly how to. I have a whole range of acrylic flesh colours and I always end up with oils.

Extremely well appreciated your comments are my dear friends . Guy, I went acrylic base and oils for the skin and acrylics for the NBC suits with oil shadows. If you look at the back drop you might see a slight bit of hidden advertising for the oils I used . Still when the chance arises I would love to visit you, if not for a painting session but to have a beer in the sun with thee and a cool museum in the background again

Boots, I used the Abt.502 Flesh colour set, and some Abt.502s I bought separately : The colours I bought separately are these: Burnt Umber Abt.006 Dark Brick Red Abt.220 Ocher Abt.092 Naples Yellow Red from Van Goch. Here's a list of colours Guy gave me, these are of course a guide line and can be varied upon . One thing I can say is this, you only need very small amounts, to qoute Guy; almost microscopic. As these will go a long way when blending, so that list of colours will last a lifetime
