Thanks Marco and Paul !!! I will keep this "Getting back Mk." thread (both Aircraft and Tank/AFV) until I'm back to my old Modelling fit level, so I was picking another subject for this Dry-build training, and I can't decide... Which one should I pick for the next "Getting Back::Aircraft" kit ?

Well I have the Wild Weasel in the stash . Either the F16FF or the 105, I'd prefer the 105 though

mmmh ok. K-5 and 105 take the lead.... and they cross the finish line at the same time. I'll go for both.

Big wing is on, engines and started adding the small details.
For those that have this nice kit, be aware, don't make the HUGE mistake I did yesterday...
I added some of the Big Wing supports on the small Wings and the V-shaped ones on the Big Wing. Don't do that. either you add them all first to the fuselage or all to the Big Wing.
The Small Winglets have some adequate holes to fit the supports where the Big Wings sits on, but those supports have some very, very small attachment points. So I ended up with an offset Big Wing, and also managed to get some of the details of the fuselage flying around...
I took a very deep breath, slept a good night , had lunch, watched some Moto GP and F1 after lunch, and got back to the Dornier attaching some small details.
This is why I'm picking some very different brands, subjects to my Big Restart / Getting Back Modelling, make mistakes, correct what I can and move on to the next subject.
Anyway, I hope that these builds might help others. Tomorrow I will get these small details on the Wing and call it done.
Stay Tuned !!

John you're doing a bloody good job fella . You've been away for so long now, it's only natural that you trip over with mistakes. You are however making a good SBS of this bird, pointing out all the relevant dodgy areas and learning to walk again in the process. Hats off to you my friend

Last details added :: This one is done.

even in this scale, it's quite a big bird. Despite some mistakes along the way, I really liked it, it's good to be back.
Now I now that my other Dornier in stash... it will be tricky too.
But I have other things to work on.
