Happy accident Paul. Applied GW constrast over the base brown black before it was fully dried-end result was it lifted the base coat on the high points and there you have it.

Duke, AG, Tommy- thank you all fellas. Need to do quite a bit with the body now to try and get it looking a bit more acceptable. Tet is probably to have to wait while I try to sort it! Probably going to do another Ape - need to find an appropriate figure body; and the prisoner from this set;  |

Thickish Brown shadow wash applied, left to dry about 20 minutes then brushed off with a clean dry flat brush. Picked out the edges etc., looks much better. Started on the Steyr. Next up will be deciding on a body for Ape number 2.   THIS IS SOOOOO MUCH FUN... and why I can never finish anything... |

Looks good and an interesting idea. Though I have to ask...does the rifle shoot poop shaped bullets? Those MasterBox New Amazon figure sets are pretty nice. The prisoner figure is perfect for this. |
