Nice work Tommy, look forward to seeing the figures painted up. Another skill I have yet to master!

Thanks everyone. Si - I’m working on that skill too. Had one hold up with the kit. The bonnet, for some reason, did not have one side. After humming and hahing over it I decided to build it up with epoxy putty. Here the result. Not sure it was the best solution. Any other suggestions out there?

Not sure what that is Marco. Got some evergreen styrene pieces but not sure how you could fix the problem with it.

Tommy, sorry you had that issue. I think a piece of sheet stock as a replacement piece would be the simplest fix.

Thanks Ian. Not sure what sheet stock is either.

Yup that sheet stuff is ace, everyone should have some in their draw

That is certainly very odd, I don't remember that being so on my version. As Ian has said, I would definitely go for some sheet stuff, or profile in 4mm height and maybe 0.50mm thick. That should be enough to sort the problem out.

I looked on the Miniart website at the instructions for your build Tommy. Looks very detailed. Keep up the good work.

Thanks Porcorosso. It's not that complicated to be honest.

As the base colour I’ve used the sand from when I built my crusader mk 2. Also the patch job looks okay to me. For the cam I’ve got Vallejo salmon rose as per the instructions. Tamiya light blue and experimenting with a light green from Mr hobby yellow green with a bit of base colour added.

It looks good fella, I'd put stowage for example a camo net and/or boxes to gently cover up the bonnet repair which in fact doesn't look too bad at all with the paint on. Stowage however looks pretty cool imo.

The colour scheme is going to look very interesting. Looks like it's coming along nicely.
