Tommy, Funny thing is I feel much better now I’ve thrown this in the trash Paul, thank you for the flexibility we have on GB deadlines . The new kit is from Tamiya and no camo so we might finish somewhere near AG, it was all the more a mojo killer as I’ve always championed Airfix. Onwards and sideways my friend

I think you were right to elbow it Steve. No point in doing something your not enjoying. Looking forward to the Tamiya build you planned.

Fully understand, Steve, and it's ridiculous some of the BS that model companies pull on us. I would say the rotors would be the deal breaker as those would be hard to fix, even with hot water. I would take a 35 year old Monogram 1/48th Century series kit over new HobbyBoss garbage any day of the week.

Shame on Airfix! To many problems for a "modern" kit. Trow it in a trash can was the best way to solve the problem.

I think your right Ian, some of those the older kits have stood the test of time very well. no one will be building this kit within a months of a new release from someone like Monogram/Revell. Your builds have made me look at old kits with fresh eyes!
