Im glad it’s pasting muster as I’m quite disappointed with the assembly.

The detail is superb but getting parts to locate and line up is proving damn difficult

Managed a bit at the bench after din dins....

I’ll be battening down the hatches on this so no messing about wiring up engines or interior bits etc.

Well the mojo is absolutely brimming for this one, I’ve wrestled the bugger into submission now and I’m adding all the exterior details that I would of broken off if I had put on when told too earlier.

The interior was airbrushed with an olive green, brown for the seats and black grey for steering wheel.
Then the roof went on, thankfully quite well.
So here was state of play at lunch time...

And after dinner, I started getting the PE bits done and some more of the detail bits.

I’ll assemble the PE ice cleat things over the week. See ya in a bit

Hi Guy, well yes you would be correct to say Miniart did a good job, the detail is awesome. And from what I’ve seen it makes a cracking model in the right hands....Link

This is no Tamiya kit though.

Part removal from the sprues and clean up can be testing and time consuming. There is a distinct lack of decent location points and the instructions are not particularly helpful at times.

I have another Miniart Gaz in the stash, so I will take what I can from this build to do a better job on the next
