Robbo, looks like you are polishing this Diamond. You have the cab and chassis together so you are getting there.

Thank you Ian, it's tested my dodgy hand I can tell you, biggest test will be the lifting cables, can't wait for that bit

Great job Robbo.......as for cables......in that scale i`d use very thin EZ Line, you can add a bit of taughtness to it if you keep it a little bit tight around the pulleys, stick a tiny bit of C/A at the attachment point on the winch (or even wrap a few turns around the winch shaft before hand and leave a bit of extra to go thru the pulleys etc)........then put a tiny drop of C/A in the pulley and give it a bit of tension until it dries (takes seconds). You can buy EZ Line in varying colours including a rust colour....i think

Cheers chaps
Got a new EZ line recently in black Mark, should make life a bit easier than using the fishing line stuff in the kit

Yeah it`s a lot nicer to work with mate........very soft and supple which means less strain on delicate parts ......black will do fine mate

After reading through Paul tiny truck build it dawned on that I closed the cab up without painting the inside, just didn't think Won't worry no ones going to see this but me, lesson learned

Major clamping to get this squared up

Ouch! That’s heavy clamping gear for such a small scale, they’ll persuade it into submission

Wow, I just found this. I started one of these a while back now. I stopped because one of the hooks went flying into Oblivion never to be found again. Also, I'm glad you're not using the fishing line stuff they include; it literally disintegrates under Tamiya cement. Ask me how I know. Another reason I haven't finished mine. Since I haven't any EZ-line and can't afford any, I'm looking for other alternatives in my collection of supplies.
Looking forward to seeing more.
