Righto first time I've used Mig's tyre paint and it sucks, never mind though as I can darken these with black washes when they are properly dry The flash has made them look worse than they actually are Without flash, might get a better idea of what I'm seeing

Some of those paint descriptions are pulled from a bag . As you say Ian, the washes will bring them to right shade, just a shame it takes longer.

His paints are normally good but this one is rubbish. The Vallejo model air I had was great, should have stuck with what I know is good

I used Ammo Rubber and Tires (hand brushed) in my CT-15 Ambulance. No problems at all.

Nice looking little truck Robbo I use Lifecolor tire black and it dries quite light but a wash of brown brings it down

Now your tyres look a lot darker than mine, a lot darker Ian, I think the darker rubber could, maybe, be a result of the color of the vehicle. The OD I used is clearer than yours. An stupid question: Did you shake the damn paint untill your start to feel some pain in arm? I have the VA Dark Rubber too and both paints are hard to mix properly.

I gave it a really good shake especially when I started to pour it out. I'll add some black to it to darken it up rather than waste it

For wheels I always use Tamiya rubber black. Never had any probs but as everyone says, a wash will work wonders.
