This looks like a most excellent build John . Nice videos too fella I need to check the paint too. It's been awhile since I painted so I'm not sure if I have the correct ones and if they are in good conditions.

Interesting choice, can the rear fuse be removed to show the engine ? I don't think so, at least there is no option for that. I think it will be visible if I leave the airbrakes open, not much more than that.
But you can always build the engine and leave it out, like this old Revell kit,
