Tommy----excellent work and that entire scene is very well done. The POWs have the look and posture of captives in for a tough road ahead. You did well in dealing with the fit issues, too.

Thanks for all the great comments everyone.
Ian and dukemaddog, you are right about the figures. A lot of work went into them, but it has definitely paid off.

Well done indeed Tommy . Have you thought about adding some dried roots or twigs here and there? They would give a little more ineterest ground-work (just my 2 cents)

Well done Tommy. That's a cracking build. It looks cold to match the conditions.

Tommy, great addition to the gallery. You really captured the vibe of combat and cold desolation.

Tommy, Paul has a point about the dried roots, on the other hand you've been creating a very, very desolate atmosphere which was typical for the never changing look of the wide landscapes in Russia. Sometimes it drove the Germans to insanity.

It’s a good argument, more on the base or desolation.
I was thinking the base needed something, but then- the endless, freezing cold waste of the Steppe. And I didn’t want to detract from the Panzer.
Thanks armorguy and Paul for your input.

Thanks again chaps. Looking at the pictures now, on my PC, I have created something very different and original. My fist time to use styrafoam (I think that is what the base is) and the weathering oils have really made a difference to the mud work. I was worried whether I should put something above the bunker door, but I think it works as it is and the bunker entrance really adds another dimension to the scene.
