oh now, that is cool. Since I'm being into driving virtual GT3's, and watching the GT World Challenge, I'm up for this. Nice start prof, looking forward to see how this Merc unfolds ^^

Chaps. Bodywork is my next focus, gotta say Tamiya's recent releases show a delicacy and finesse I've never seen before. Here's what we start with. The rear cooling vents are taped in place, filler and sanding is required.  95% of the fit is exceptional, a couple of small mould seams to deal with and then primer.  Then on with what is known as the ground coat, a sort of burnt orange colour, not nice.  Then on with the pearl colour coat which is much more appealing to the eye.  I need to address a couple of imperfections but overall, happy with progress. |

Zero paints are very sturdy paints, I used them on a grille detail of my car years ago. Even with a lot of highway traffic it took a beating but didn't flake off (topped with Tamiya X-2 clear).

Cheers Mence, I thought as much but wasn’t sure. I used zero paints on my Valentino Rossi Yamaha YZR , they’re excellent but smelly 👍
