Tommy, the stowage is staying  . For the rope I used thread, this is about 0.4mm thick. This quite thick not the normal cotton for hand sewing. Just cut a length off and soak it in a ropey Tammy colour mix, with lots of IPA, almost like a wash but with more colour.  Mence, cheers mucker and I say go for it  . Bare in mind the tracks are a nightmare

How much I don't like the stowage on the rear deck... Not!!!  It sits perfect on this smashingly finished tank and the base was made for it!
