The colours look great and I think it will be fun to weather the Tilly.

Here’s a bit of progress for your amusement and entertainment. Decals and a bit of pastels, flat coat and final details/clear parts to round off the build. Then a last bit of weathering Also having a go at a 1/48 figure. A lady WRAF I’m calling Betty Base colours on uniform and other items. This needs blending and highlights. Legs look odd as I’m still trying to find a flesh mix I like but early days yet and I’m open to suggestions. The lighting has washed out the pic too. that’s it for now

Top draw Steve. Are you putting your windows in after? Is it easy to get them in?

Thanks Robbo Typical Tamiya, yes the clear parts are really easy to fit after the painting if you don’t fix the chassis to the body. They’re a drop-in fit then you can close it all up

Awesome Steve That is one cool colour scheme you have chosen and the weathering fits the bill perfectly Betty looks good also, but help I cannot offer unfortunately. This area is still a learning zone for me too. But bet Guy will drop a hint or too soon

Looks great. For 1/48 figures I just use flat flesh and then Tamiya figure accent colour.

Looks great Steve! About the figure, I can't say nothing. My first attempt on the British tanker was terrible. He's looking like a zombie That does sound familiar

Cheers all for stopping in, it’s appreciated Marco, zombie was who Betty first looked .. mind you that might be due to the Citadel flesh colour I used as a base

Steve, this looks great! Nice to work on a Tamiya kit instead of that Airfix fiasco. Steve, I always liked the Vallejo 341 Flesh Base. Made my figures less zombie-ish.
