Thanks a lot gents. After the initial 'splatter chipping' it was time to take the W&N 1 brush out. The paint I used was Ammo Dunkelgelb Shine. It's a very light version of the DY, I think it's purpose is to paint the highlights of DY camouflage. It's almost white. Yet it's ideal for the chipping purpose.   After that I mixed Vallejo Black Grey, Offwhite, and a tad of the DY Shine, thinned with a tiny drop of water and some VMS retarder. The center of some paintchips was then painted in this dark metal shade. Initially, with only the DY chips the model seemed why to bright. But the metal color balances it out perfectly. Painting the metal color on turret, hull and running gear took my yesterday pretty much all day     Next step: who knows  . Maybe I'll finish the G-6 first  |
