I've made a little more progress by gluing the suspension arms in place. I'll carry on adding the hull details next.

Thank you Pete, Boots, Tommy, Ian and, Paul. Much appreciated chaps.

I've assembled the hull as much as possible before painting. It goes together really quickly and fits perfectly. I have had a couple of enjoyable distractions to slow me down. Keeping an eye on Toby who's turning into a right little Houdini, and making the first models with the grandchildren. I sat them down, one at a time, and made a Meng C-17 each. I had them cutting the parts from the runner while I clicked the bits together. I chose a C-17 after they saw them flying out of Culdrose during the G7 Summit. I also got to take a couple of photos outside of my KV-1 as it finally stopped raining!
The next step will be to start assembling the turret.
