Thanks PorcoRosso and Paul. Had a play with some oils as filters and MiG ammo rust and grime.  seen an uncle night shift and a couple of other YouTube clips on winter camo. Think I am ready to give the panzer 3 a whack. |

Quiet day at work so printed off some pictures of panzer 3s. Figured out what the long thin rack is for - holding the aerial. So I tries to fit one. Only lost the aerial housing when I tried to stick it back on. Improvised with a bit of epoxy putty. Bit of paint and no one will be any the wiser.  starting the winter camo tonight. |

First white wash with a thin coat of grime for colour. Now just done the second coat. Will need some sorting, but here is the latest.  going to watch the opening ceremony now and got my volunteer work at the BMX next week. Come on Bethany Schriever from Essex. |

Well, the opening ceremony is totally boring. No atmosphere at all. Turned it off after an hour.
Hope the events are better next week.
