Here is my entry for the Barbarossa & beyond GB.

Again managing to resist buying something new, a brief rummage in the attic produced this.

It’s only a tiny one so shouldn’t take long to knock it together.

Have built a couple of Tristar kits before. The 2cm Flak38 PzKpfw 38(t) and the 7.5cm Pak40 Fgst.Pz.Kpfw. Marder III Ausf.H….both really enjoyable.

Hoping this will be the same!!

Great to have you all along gentlemen

Well I can now report the build has begun!

I Had to have a good clean of the moggeling area first, seems I made a lot of mess doing the ground work on the last one….a clear out and put away followed by a thorough hosing down produced a tidy bench….not been this tidy in a bit!!

So then….on with the lower hull.
Went together ok, my only grumble being the attachment points.
Some are really big and some I found difficult to snip off.
An hour or so at the bench produced a good start…

Hoping to get a bit more done tomorrow

Progress has been unbelievably slow but seem to be getting somewhere. I’ve taped the upper hull parts together to work out what to paint when.

You can see a fair bit into the driving compartment, so I need to paint that up before closing it up!
Running gear added and I’ll make a start on the tracks next. Here’s some pics….

Hope to get a bit more done soon
