I shall follow this duel with interest. It should get dirty down the line. Great title by the way. You can't beat a drop of Laphroaig.

Well I have started, and I chose to start with the lovely Aires SJU8/A Ejection Seat . I primed it with Stynylrez, then a base coat of Vallejo 71.057 Black was added. Then came an overspray/highlighting(?) with Vallejo 71.056 Panzer Grey, the seat padding had a base coat of Vallejo 70.914 Green Ochre. Over this went a Mig wash Brown for DAK Yellow . I then added Vallejo 71.062 Aluminum for the chipped worn areas and painted the bang rockets with Vallejo white and red for the placards. The final part was a dry brush with Abt.502 Buff oil paint, over the padding. When this is dry, possibly tomorrow, I'll add the Eduard etch to the seat .

That looks very good Paul, and you still got the harness to go on. A friend of mine thinks Laphroaig taste like TCP! Obviously a heathen I hasten to add! Not me though, I love it me

Thank you Joe . Yes the harness, the activating handles, and a few other bits are still to be added. But the Eduard etch is pre-painted so no probs there. My favorite whisky at the moment is this
