Thank you Boots! The small turret will be given a camouflage pattern before the hull's done. I use Blu tack to make the wavy shapes and let's hope it comes off without issues.

Looking good Guy . Blu-tack is okay if you don't use it too often and only with acrylics, I find that after 4-5 masking jobs it needs swapping for new stuff

Indeed Paul, my Blu tack was used many times and it becomes hard to remove once the paint is on.

The turret camo is on, next thing is to paint the black lining. I like the camo colours ! So darn effective ! Hidden between a bunch of oompa loompas in the Willy Wonka Chocolate factory it should be hard to find by the Germans.

Brilliant result. It seems blu-tack is better than masking putty which just will not keep its shape.

I couldn't imagine that you fellas were going to be this much interested in this not so impressive looking insect of a French tank. Ok, I sprayed on two coats of gloss clear to protect the camo from the errors I'll make when I brush on the black lining using enamel black. Now I can safely remove these. The colours still look odd but no longer dull.

It has changed on my screen too... the lowest color was purple/red in the first picture, is now light green... the dark green stripe from the first picture has now turned purple/red on the back of the turret and black on the side of the turret... OOOOOhh, now I understand this camouflage, it's a chameleon!! BRILLIANT!!
