Good work on that turret.
I have the same gun barrel, was there any problem fitting it ?
Do the smoke dischargers have any wiring in the kit?

Thanks Nito /John
Oh yes there was a few problems with the barrel . The barrel kit includes some thin aluminum flat sheets that require being rolled into a cylindrical shape to simulate the insulating sleeve that covers the barrel . Since the barrel is tapered I could not get the aluminum rolled into the correct shape to fit correctly . So I left it off . I ended up using thin styrene strips to simulate the seam in the barrel wrap . The straps for the barrel wrap are very intricate but look good when finished . Its a very fussy assembly but I like the look of it . There is no wiring for the smoke dischargers on the mounting bracket but there is a plastic piece that attaches to the turret behind the smoke discharger bracket to simulate a wire .
HTH .

Thanks Pete , Boots and Paul .
I'm looking into mixing some Tamiya paints to get the color . Especially the red-crown .

Paul , Robbo , Jeff, Nemo ,Mack , guy and Marco thanks . Been getting the paint on but have had troubles with AB . Ordered parts today . I had dropped the needle on the concrete floor last week and caused a fish hook on the end which I did not not notice right away .
