Chaps. Moving along although must admit the Olympics is getting most of my attention at the moment. Got it all closed up and the wings are on, must admit the fit isn't quite as 'Tamiya' as I'm used to, maybe because it was an earlier kit, couldn't possibly be me. Anyway, bay doors on and first coat of paint on the undersides. Must admit the join seam looks poor in this shot, honestly not as bad as it looks...probably.  Mence,don't sweat about that seam too much mate! The two halves of the fuselage were bonded along those lines,and then the equivalent of gaffer tape was run down the seam ! Here's my version of his bigger brother....  |
