Not such a strange choice when you think about, the wanton destruction and mayhem caused by war and particularly the Eastern Front. Casualties and destruction was unprecedented in the history of the world. I am sure with everyone’s help and assistance I can do justice to this topic and REDZEBRA’s rubble.

This is also a revenge build. i visited the old man’s shop just down the road and in his price down bin I found these. As a very young boy I remember going to the Arndale Centre in Crossgates on a regular basis. One day I bought the model; Wehrmacht mounted infantry set (now it probably was Tamiya, but I don’t recall). Anyway, on getting home I do recall my friend laughing at me because it only contained one horse and rider, and not the many as shown on the back of the box. Who is laughing now then, hey? Probably me but we are talking nearly 50 years ago.

Looking forward to this one :-) If youre going to make large piles of rubble, mix up some plaster/polyfilla or similar, then add our rubble to the to the plaster lump, makes the rubble sets go further :-)

Thanks for the tip. I hope I can do justice to your rubble since I did do the appalling joke:
It won’t cause you any tRUBBLE.
No. It never gets any better, that one!!!!

Well, the foot soldier is very nice. For the straps there is a thin strip of plastic to be cut into sections. i wil just use masking tape instead. the colour of the paper will give you an idea of how long this has been sitting around, waiting for someone to build it.

Nice unusual subject Tommy. I think the mounted Infantry set dates back to the 1980s. Your one might be an original from back then.

Very interesting, love the rubble. There isn't a goat in that set is there

No goats. The animals will probably not make an appearance in this one.
