Nice start, Joe, and certainly no fit problems with the fuselage parts.

Lovely start Joe . I like the idea of the PVA glue, that is now noted in my fast growing aircraft tips book

Thank you gentlemen. Ian, The fit as you know is spot on. I'm not a lover of two part fuselages, but the this one is faultless! Paul, I use PVA a lot. The one I use is called Formula '560'. Other canopy glues are available. Also Ian, I noticed this which looks rather good. www.hannants.co.uk/product/QD48175?result-token=ayJHe

Thank you Paul. I intend to get a set of the Quinta Studio 3D Decals. I know they will be good after being recommended by an aircraft Top Gun like yourself. Just a little bit more progress. I made the vertical stabilizer which is made up from 6 parts. It attaches to the fuselage by a mortise and tenon arrangement. This will be ideal in the fact that it can be painted, and have all the decals put on before adding it to the fuselage.

Cracking work Joe . A word about the decals, I haven't tried a wash on them yet so I don't know how they react to that. Better check some videos on youtube before you risk anything

Joe, nice work and I was really amazed with the test fit of the vertical stab. Definitely can paint and decal first, and then stick it on.

Looking very good Ian. I really must get my finger out. You've done a great job with the undercarriage bays. The wing tips have a nice strong attachment point. Looks like Tamiya have thought of everything.

Well done Ian. Your going great guns on your Phantom. I've made very little progress myself. I got the wing sections ready for the location holes to be drilled. I marked the different diameter holes with the size of drill next to each hole so I don't drill the wrong size. To be fair, Tamiya have made the location points a different size, so what I done is just in case I'm not paying attention when I drill the holes.
