Small update on the F-4B, as I have started work on the burner cans. Once again, great engineering by Tamiya as the seam for the top and bottom halves falls on a natural segment of the burner can. Tamiya called out Interior Green for the burner can interior, which I thought was odd, but apparently J-79s were green on the inside and this eventually changed to a rust color and then grey/black soot. I decided to depict them in the rust orange phase and sprayed them with Vallejo Light Rust and followed that up with a Raw Umber-Mineral Spirits wash.
