Time to enter the foray fellas . He be my offering for the Op. Barbarossa and beyond GB. Eduard Bf 109-F2 1/48 A start has been made . The office is close to being finished, just need the seat belts and a wash around the details. I have used the Quinta Studio Decal set on this one, holy moly are they detailed . The seat belts will also be from the set too. Weird stuff they though, they have nothing to do with a traditional decal. They need gluing in place with either cyano, PVA, or as I used Revell contacta for clear parts. Here's a vid from the net on how to deal with them : Anyway, here's the pics of my start .

Oh man, we get an F-2! Can't wait for this one Paul and great start on the cockpit! Lots of -109 jockeys thought the F was the finest of the breed.

Looking forward to this one Paul, the F2 has beautiful lines.
Those cockpit decals look good too, might have to invest in some.

Thank you kindly chaps . I can say those decals are worth the money and effort, I shall definitely get some more . Not much has happened here, I got the fuselage halves together, which was a tad annoying . Eduard don't seem to think we need any attachment points, maybe the experienced aircraft doesn't, but I found this step bloody difficult . More hopefully this week, just depends on how I feel after biking 17 miles each way, to and from work. The stupid train drivers are out on strike, and as I am a commuter it means don't get to work in a comfy ride .

The fuselage looks good Paul. That's a fair old bike ride. I bet it's a crosswind so you have the wind against you both ways.
