That’s a bit of a cycle each day Paul but just think of the unhealthy things that you can eat guilt free! Looks like you’ve mastered the fuse too, even without locating pins

Paul, fuselage looks excellent. Also, you don't need locater pins after building 82-piece carburetors from Miniart.

Thanks fellas, and yes those who made bike comments now know where to go . Today was wing time, and yet again there are no attachment points . They needed some sanding from the insides too, the fit at the wing tip was too high which would have left a step . Anyway, the wings are now in place. A little filler was needed at the wing root, so I used some acrylic putty for that. This is far easier than solvent based putty, as you can just wipe the rests away with a wet cotton bud . Steve, you are much further ahead than I am

Boots, ta mushty . Joe, thanks also mucker . Even though this is called a weekend kit, it certainly isn't one for a beginner to this game . Once everything is lined up, the fit is bloody good. And the bonus with this, is the fact that the tail plane and all flaps are separate, which means you can show them at the correct angles for a parked aircraft

Coming along very nicely Paul, even if Eduard's time keeping is different to ours I like acrylic filler too but I had to use solvent base on the Il-16 wing root as it needed the extra strength. Lots of cleaning up though.

Those guns look nice Paul. Are they aftermarket or do they come with the kit? Root filling looks good too.

Thank you chaps , I must be doing right then . Guy, don't tell anybody but those guns are in fact aftermarket . And they are not really designed for this kit . I grabbed these in shopping frenzy not realizing that they were in fact for 1/48 scale armour . But hey, the 7.92mm barrel is the same all over more or less, so on they went
