It looks good to me, but using oils to change the tone is not such a difficult task.

Duke, Joe, Tommy, cheers chaps . I am still contemplating the colour change, I have found something that might do the trick . Anyway, here' the spinner all painted up Just need to sort the new prop out . I cut, filled, sanded, primed and painted the wrong one ,as I was stupid enough to remove the wrong one from the sprue

Boots, cheers and yes it bloody well is . For some reason though it fit before paint, doesn't anymore Joe, thank you ole chap . To be honest I'd sooner paint them, rather than adding decals, decs can be a darned nightmare on these things Wouts, I am far from perfect mucker . Sounds like somebody else also made the same mistake .

Wouts, I am far from perfect mucker . Sounds like somebody else also made the same mistake . Not with the spinner in particular but plenty with other bits and bobs. I regularly have my "D'oh" moments

We ought to make a club Wouts . Just added the RLM02 to inner areas of the landing flaps on the forward wing (I'm sure somebody knows the proper name for these ) >Tomorrow will be glossage, this time a mix of matt and gloss from VMS

Matt and gloss?
What’s the thinking behind that decision, Paul?

Wouts, Boots, Tommy, cheers chaps . Tommy I haven't got any semi-gloss top coat. After discovering that the gloss on it's own, is way to slippery for oils to adhere to and after Wouts said, the Satin top coat is too matt to remove the oils, I decided to try a mix of my own . I have just made up a mix of 1 part matt, to 2 parts gloss. It's already sprayed on the 109 and I am waiting for it to dry . Will get a pic up later today.
