Started this a little while ago, but as ever mojo meant it just sat there... until my recent self isolation however, gave me a re-kick and I've managed to get construction all but finished and a primer/base coat onover the last week Details of what unit still to be decided, but I have some Max Decals Cavalry sqdns and also Echelon UN markings for Cyprus (interestingly, the vehicles stayed in their factory green finish)  |

Colour is fine as a primer but the final colour should be a deeper green, closer to a Russian green shade so off I go a mixing. 😏

Yup, happy with that colour, particularly for a UNICYP mission vehicle.

Thought it was about time for an update, slow progress but nearly ready for gloss and decals and then onto a bit of light weathering. In the meantime I've been working on a crewman for it. Accurate Armour NCO figure  Happy with him. Uniform isn't totally accurate for the timeline (early 70's) but close enough for me. |

Thanks folks. Decals on the car and a bit of dust n splatter added. Trying out the final arrangement of the base.  . Still need yo finish the lights and add the sand channel, but almost there. I think I've gone a tad too dark but every build is an education.  |
