Although I know its a long way off, had a mail from the organisers for the Modelkraft show at Milton Keynes, planned for Sunday 8th May 2022. Hopefully next year we can get back to what normal used to be like :-)

I was going to wait till this morning to fill the truck up, pleased I did it Thursday morning now after collecting a few groceries, I only had a range of 50 miles left...The St Ives show is about 40 miles, may have got there but not back :-( Someone on FB was selling plastic bags with a small amount of fuel for £30... what a total idiot.

Talking to my neighbour, he'd seen an advert on an agency website, paying around £60,000 a year for HGV (LGV) drivers...My HGV expired a long time ago :-(

Crickey.........i`d be happy to do it for just 2 years then ...........yeah mine ran out about 13 years ago, you`d think they`d contact people with out-dated lorry licences.........at the end of the day you wouldn`t need to sit a retest coz you don`t just forget how to drive........even if you just did the CPC part, i bet there is a lot of qualified drivers out there that could cover the short fall even if just for now

Trouble is all those idiots queuing to get into the petrol stations blocking the road :-) Yes would make sence to contact people that had previously held HGVs... the GVT wont think of that one, too easy route for them :-)
