I found it went on the larger area, like the mudguard, better than it did the frame. I am more than happy with it though

Paintwork looks good to me Robbo B)
50's bikes like these would have had cellulose based paint on the frame which had a semigloss finish, just like yours!

Then listen to me then............DON`T rush these type of builds!!, i`ve done a couple of these as you know and they can suddenly throw you a curve ball just when you least expect it..........these arn`t quite like a Tam bike kit and require a little TLC here and therre and maybe a touch of fettling..........if ya take it easy with the build and keep double checking fit and paint sequence things will be fine.....rush things and you`ll miss things mucker Sorry didn`t mean to sound like ya mum ....just doing you a favour coz these 1/9`s still ain`t cheap and i`d hate to see it in the `pits`

Yeah i hear ya.........had the same prob with my 2 i did.......`specially when it came to the brake lines and clutch/throttle cables.......oh.....and the speedo
