Cheers gents, eased myself into the build this afternoon and I must say the fit of parts is exceptional. One thing I did notice is that the tracks are actually round the wrong way if you follow the instructions. Perhaps it's because tamiya used one of the few surviving examples as reference, (the samur one). My refs confirmed this so I decided to adjust accordingly. Nothing too difficult to do if you decide to change them around. I've left the wheel assembly loose so I can remove for painting later.

Robbo, yeap link and length mate, the usual tamiya approach these days and they really do work well.

Second run all done and the main superstructure pieces are also all in place. There are a fair few pin marks to deal with but most are raised so a lot easier to sand and sort out. I do like how I can keep it in sub assemblies for painting too.
