Chris you can come back in now fella . Carl appreciated dear sir . Today was a fight with the decals , they are very thin and have a mind of their own , but I reckon I got 'em beat . The tail decs needed a trim after adding and a small piece on the port side needed cutting out before adding, the just needed a steady hand and shed loads of patience . The markings for the walkways on the wings will be sprayed on later , I certainly ain't trying to stick those 10 cm long and 1 mm wide things on .

I’d leave it be now, these birds where so streamlined that they didn’t hold much grime, looks superb!

Fine looking Spitfire! It is scary when you go to put that wash on because it really looks like the project is totally FUBAR'ed and you say to your self, "What have I done?"
Best wishes,
Ian

Boots, Steve, Ian and Carl you all be right . I looked at her today and it was enough wash , so I then moved on to the next step . She got a a VMS matt coat this afternoon, but me being the dumb ass I am , I had to re-mask the glazing first . Don't think I'll get anything done till Wednesday now, tomorrow I've got physio for my back. Anyway Wednesday will get some masking and then the walkways and anti-slip area sprayed on the wings .
