Sorry for being a bit late,Pete. This looks like a very nice kit. You've made a grand start on it.

Nice work with the wheel detailing Pete. I was making a couple of toon tanks a couple of weeks ago with the grandkids. I gave them a lecture on being careful when using a craft knife, only to stab myself moments later. They thought it was hilarious!

Thanks as ever chaps. The upper hull is now in place after some fettling as it's not that good a fit. Some gentle clamping was needed on the front section as the lower hull seemed to be slightly out of whack. Cleaned up the joint with a touch of mr surfacer and started some improvements. First up where the breather pipes which are very weedy on the kit, replaced with some suitable rod they look much better. I also removed all the lumps that should be brackets on the hull sides before adding small sections of plastic strip and gluing the shaved off bracket faces back on. 

The front and rear sections are now getting the treatment and as you can see some plastic rod is being used to fill the holes for the spare track links. These are very rarely seen in place, at least on Salisbury Plain so filling the location holes is the way to go.
