Armorguy it is Tamiya’s texture paint, grass effect. I am using it to add bulk to the underlay. That clay was not the best, well it was the cheapest and not even clay, some wood pulp mixture. 100 branches made out of thin wire and stuck on individually. Please lock the door and throw away the key and never let me out again. I have well and truly flipped my lid!!!!  The beer helped though and very nice it was too. |

Superb, perhaps some pulled cotton wool to simulate smoke over the bulb will work well.

Thanks Jeff and PorcoRosso. Done some work on the base. Added crushed leaves from the balcony and other stuff. Ready for priming.  Primed the tree. Can you see the empty birds nests?  |

Thanks as always. Painted with oils, it doesn’t look as ominous as I want so will add more black to the mix and blend it in well.  |

Well, you’ve heard of the scorched earth policy. Well this is incinerated earth. Let the fun begin. The only problem is the paint stinks like sweaty socks  Gas mask anyone? Got some moss type effect for this one.  |
