Used this ever since I saw him do it, a while back. Had a crack at the weapons. Each one is made out of two parts. The slings are just thin strips of Tamiya masking tape.

I used oil paints on the wooden parts to give them some depth of colour and some VMS black, buffed up on the metal parts for some highlights.
