Good afternoon all. The Y-Wing to me is not as attractive as the X-Wing yet it enjoys a huge fanbase. This build of one was another commission piece for a colleague last year. While there is a certain amount of latitude in terms of accuracy with these Sci-Fi kits the fans of the films can be very demanding with the finish and the way they look. Therefore the painting stages were what I was most concerned about it. The kit is typical of Bandai's push together assembly although I elected to glue everything anyway. Here's the blog, I hope you enjoy it First up, Boxart and contents. Andy

The build itself is quite straight forward. The instructions are clear and parts breakdown seemed easy enough. Stage 1: Hull Stage 2: Hull Stage 3: Engine pod wing stubs More soon

Different stuff, but very nice! All that piping, is that normally push together as well?

This is great, Andy! Amazing detail with the moldings. Always loved the Y-Wing after seeing Gold Leader and the boys in the trench, in the theater in '77.
