@ Tommy: decided the guy leaning over the engine would't be wearing his helmet, would have taken off his kit for this job... so where to leave it?
And as in a lot of pictures you see dismounted guys with their guns, thought I put them on the footboard of the truck... near enough to be able to grab it quickly if necessary..

And some updates...

The Achilles:
added the machine gun to the left side of the turret of the Achilles, next to the gun, like the IDF did... had to make a good bit of room for it and it's ammobox..

painted the interior of the Achilles hull, will still have to add some dirt to the floor of it...

moved the gunner position to the right side of the gun...

And noticed I made a total mess of the gun's paintjob so that will be redone... should have stopped a bit earlier last night

And the M51.. welll.. got those tracks on.. really don't like those type of tracks..... closed the hull, painted a good bit of stowage and details...

Some washes have been added, bit more to go and then about time to start chipping this one..

Bye the way, noticed the brand new looking front fenders? Had forgotten to add them... so they only got the base color so far...

I have chipped the M51, added antennes, added some straps over the stowage, dusted her up... and I think the M51 is finished... the difference:

So all that's missing is a crew... which means a new chance to practice to try and get some decent faces and something that looks remotely like some other people's figures.....

Shadows from underneath, light from above, checked... but now the rest.... so, more to come..
