Great idea about the ropes. As for being ready!!!! There is always more you can do.

Nice work! The ropes add a realistic touch to the build giving very lived in look.

Thanks guys! @ Tommy: I know, each time I look at one of my finished models, I think: I could add this, or do that.. @ Paul: the great thing about building early IDF stuff.. you can't go wrong.. they were using all kinds of everything.. I have a Trackpad book: Tanks of the Early IDF volume3, the most used sentence in the Sherman section: "never say never when it comes to IDF Shermans" .. any version, any upgrade, they even used them for testing those .50 machineguns on top of the main gun like you see in their modern tanks..

Stowage looks excellent, Bert! The IDF always made good use of the area on top of the Sherman fenders for stowage. I like how you have the cans stored there.

Progress has been slow, very slow, too much going on in my life.. but this is where this one is at this moment... Added the decals, some sand and deposit on the wheels and lower hull.. Covered the tracks in pigment and removed most of it again, to get that sand-in-between-every-link look.. unlike my southern neighbour I usually do only a few layers of weathering instead of 40 ..

That is very good Bert . And no-body does weathering like our dearest neighbour

I love doing the used/battered/weathered look...we all know tanks in conflict ain`t pretty with many an odd addition of some sort added , just gives the model some life and character
