The post dude has been and left these . This came from Amazon and will give me lots of inspiration for future 109's and 190's And this came from AK in Spain with a free bottle of 3rd Gen. Acrylic Dunkelgelb paint . This will be my Falklands group build entry .

Wonder if it is possible to establish markings etc for Nigel Ward's stead? and thereby link to the bust I will be doing.
Any input from our wingy experts on this?

One of the SHARs Sharkey flew was XZ451, #006 which was in overall Extra Dark Sea Grey. That was one of the ones originally in the Extra Dark Sea Grey over White, and got modified to wrap around Extra Dark Sea Grey. Also had the white removed from the roundels with blue paint so the roundels on the Extra Dark Sea Grey ones look disproportionate with a small red center and lots of blue.

Checked the decals, XZ451 is in the kit . The instructions call out white for the undersides, which is wrong, if I have understood you correctly Ian?

The initial scheme on the SHARS was in fact Extra Dark Sea Grey over White but for the Falklands War the Extra Dark Sea Grey was extended to the undersides. Can't remember if this was done enroute or before departure in England. Some SHARS wore a different scheme of overall Medium Sea Grey with black codes, in the Falklands as well. Zebra, nice grabs.

Did manage to snag one of these for Christmas.
It will be the second one I've had. The first one lasted almost 5 years. It has turned into my workhorse AB. Use it for everything and the cost is VERY friendly at about 40 dollars U.S.

Just delivered :-) Now where do you get these kits?!! I never see them in stores, nor online! These would rock, especially if I can make them civilian along with military. Nice scores everyone! Paul, I do like those 1/76 scale accessories. Very nice!
