Bert this is looking smashing & I do like how the IDF loads the be Jesus out of stuff!! Mike Thanks! So do I, it is one of the things that made me buy a lot of IDF vehicles, the stowage and then all the adjustments they made... like turning a Centurion into the Nagmashot family... T5something into Tiran-something, these M3's into all kind of versions... In step 5 you assemble the winch, and its housing, its powering, you attache it to the main chassis. So far no major problems, and looks great. and then, just when you think you reached the end ... step 21 of 22 steps... they want you to do something crazy... Dragon wants you to insert the grill inbetween the winch and the radiator, no problem..... except.... there is a drive shaft that is connected to the winch and the radiator.... and there is a hole in the grill... and the drive shaft has to go through that hole... So, cut off the drive shaft, install the grill on to the front cabine, and will have to reinstall that driveshaft after assembling the lot... which will probably be after some painting... have to remember where I will put that tiny bit of plastic

I shouldn’t laugh but well I did!
Think of it like this Dragon were helping with your modelling skills by giving you a challenge to solve.

Thanks everyone! Their engineers were probably on a Red Bull/Espresso/Mountain Dew bender and left a few gaps with the instructions. I can just picture them, friday afternoon, having those drinks: "let's mess these instructions up a bit, and have a laugh.. poor bugger who's byuing this will think he is almost finished "

Saw some pictures online of Fire extinguisher mounted next to the door in the back, and UZI's in the cabine for the driver and co-driver, and an antenna on the rearplate.... So I added some parts from the spare box... Have an ancient box with drivers, US but as I have seen pictures of IDF soldiers in 197 with all kinds of uniforms and helmets (Israeli, US and English) I don't think that matters too much.. They are a bit rough and not as sharp modelled like modern figure kits... And as I am more and more thinking of having the collonne halted, I made the drivers door opened, so I could get him to half get out of the vehicle.. easier said than done... good thing about these ancient guys is that it doesn't matter too much if you cut them up.. had to cut both arms and legs.. will have to do a good bit of cleaning up, sanding, shaping, hiding and camouflaging.... Wish I had sculpting skills like Zebra.....
