Chaps I'm back in the game with a second kit . This time I know things will work out fine I have also started the build, as you can see I have taken some of the AFV CLub 251 parts and added these to the Tamiya kit, yes even Tamiya like a little TLC . However the rear inner stowage bins are rubbish, doesn't matter if they are Tamiya or AFV, they are way too thick. So these were scratched.

Nice start......again.....Paul! I am envisioning profanity, Famous Grouse and discarded 251 boxes strewn all over the homestead right now.

Good to see you bounce back straight away. Nice work on the interior.

Cheers Ian, actually it's Störtebeker Pils, Glen Moray scotch, white stuff shavings and two 251 boxes Andy, never sit down and cry , suss the situ and crack on

Test fitting the AFV Club tracks . I had to remove one link from the AFV Club track and only on the right-hand side. If I remember rightly the Dragon 251's with magic tracks, the kit instructions state that one track run, is one link shorter than the other.

Bouncing back with a Tamiya kit is the perfect solution Paul, another interesting version too!

Cheers Steve . I find that starting a new build helps keep the mojo-killer away too

Nice restart! Suppose it is like riding a bike, when you fall you just get right back on it... And when I restarted this hobby last year, I started out with a Tamiya kit, and comparing that with everything I build since then, there is no real match to Tamiya... Very nice version you have, and is that guy included as well? THat would make a nice little scene

So my joke came true.
Good decision to go with a Tamiya. Boxes and bit of brass look masterful

Shame about the other one but if ya can`t make a silk purse out of a sow`s ear then it`s time for the brick of doom........this is moving along very nicely and a cool choice
