Chaps, as the weather here is very, very humidity, I decided to start another simple project instead start the weathering in the B1 bis. I like the Takom's instructions, they are beautiful and easy to follow, I think the only problem (a big one) is the size of paint schemes... This, BTW, is the scheme of choice. To much plastic inside the (big) box, but the construction is very easy, the engineering is clever and the fit is great After some hours of work, I had the hull done, except the headlights guards and stowage boxes handles Next, wheels, sprokets and turret. Hope you liked! ACC&?W

Ta Eric! Welcome!
This is the MASSTER scheme, created during the 70s, before de MERDC turn standard. It was used exclusively in 7th army tanks in Germany from 73, until 77.

Great choice, Marco, and I will be watching this one closely as I have this kit. Love that camo scheme as well, especially with the black stencils.

Thanks a lot lads!
Despite it is a great model, without any fit problems (so far), that's definitely not a shake and bake model... I glued mor than 60 pieces just to have the suspension and under hull done, and I didn't start to build the wheels (each one has 3 parts). For the bright side, the tracks are bandies, but you do not need glue to join. They used a clever (IMHO) metal pin system.

This looks like a very nice model, like the shape of those M60's... and a very nice color scheme to go with it! Sounds like a good bit of parts

Cheers Bert! I loved M60s. I have an M60A2, now the A1 and the A3 with dozer blade in the future! Maybe a M728...

I like the small turret on the turret, it adds to its coolness. The camo scheme is another nice touch. Many parts or do-able ?

You doing the one from the 11th Armored Cavalry, Marco? Hi Ian! Yes, bro, I'll. Seeing the options, I opted the one that don't have big cartoons or names, just the beautiful MASSTER scheme, with more black spots.

I like the small turret on the turret, it adds to its coolness. The camo scheme is another nice touch. Many parts or do-able ? Hi Guygeniusbro! I know I said "more than 60 parts", but it has more than 100 parts to build the hull. But thanks to the smart engineering, it's easy to build (better than AFV M60A2) and don't have any fit problems so far. So, I can say that's perfectly do-able! As I use to say: If I did, anyone can do!
