Thanks PorcoRosso. Now, the house, it won’t be war torn but it won’t be a picture postcard house either. Made from styrofoam, the slate roof is just cut up cardboard. I carved out the brick wotk with a pencil and then pressed them down. I used VMS cement grey pigment to cover the plaster part. I will paint this in pink or yellow or both next.  Windows and doors are ready to be stuck on at the end.

Thanks Paul and PorcoRosso. I have started weathering now and it is looking a lot better. I think two tone is more French, to be honest.
