Thanks so much for the kind words, guys! Yes, that Exocet is a beast of a missile and certainly very deadly. I know that point-defense technology was kind of in the early stages when the Falklands War occurred but to see it was still just as lethal in the age of Aegis/CIWS when the USS Stark was hit in '89 is very telling,

Thanks so much, Pete! Yes, a glossy, clean jet was a new realm for me but I learned some cool techniques in the process.

Great job on the North Carolina and the A6M2 Type 21.
What did you use for weathering the A6M2 Type 21 ?

Tommy, John--thanks, guys!
John, the plane was sprayed with Tamiya XF-76. I then post shaded the plane with MIG IJN Ash Grey. I really bleached out the control surfaces since they were fabric. Panel lines were drawn with a drafting pencil and then shaded with Tamiya Smoke applied with a fine point on the airbrush. Fluid leaks and stains were done with drops of oil paint which were then pulled with a small broad brush. The heavy wash for the wheel bays and gear bay doors is Pledge Floor Wax tinted with Acryl Black Paint. I used oil/mineral spirits washes for the rivets and recesses. I think that covers the weathering.
