Wow, Paul! You got off to a flying start with this one. I loved the old Airfix kit of the Defiant when I was a kid. It came in black plastic, so I'd didn't have to paint it!
The cockpit looks very good indeed. You have made an excellent job of it.

Chaps the fuselage has been put together . The inside got a matt coat this morning, I also used a harness set from a totally different aircraft  . I happened to have these belts in the stash, and with a little careful cutting I think I managed to get them almost original looking .    |

Main wing has been fitted. I must say the fit to the fuselage is the best I have seen from an Airfix kit, or even any other kits   |
