I got the base done for the BTR although my groundwork/dio skills are nowhere the rest of you gents here in the forums. I ended up laying down a foundation of modeling clay and added a styrofoam block to form the hill. Over that I added a layer of garden dirt which had been sifted and mixed with about 60% PVC glue. I then added the mixture to the base along with a lot of gravel on the hill. Tracks were made in the terrain with a spare BTR wheel and then the whole thing was treated with various MIG pigments and sealed with Pigment Fixer. I decided to add a camo net to the BTR so this was made from rolled gauze and then treated with spice leaves and leaves from a Hudson and Allen set. The net was then painted with some Vallejo Iraqi sand. Almost ready to put all this together.
