Next on the bench will be this cracker from trumpeter with a shed load of goodies. As usual this has been quietly maturing in the stash for a good number of years. Might even do a little scene for it with another vehicle and figures but we shall see how the old mojo goes during the build!

Thanks chaps, made a start today and tackled the suspension units and wheels. The suspension is a tad tricky and you need to ensure the wheel hubs are straight so that later on the wheels will sit correctly. As is they have a slight angle to them so it's worth taking some time to get the right alignment. The resin replacement wheels are great and are a straight fit onto the wheel hubs. I didn't bother with the etched wheel guards as the kit ones are perfectly acceptable.

Thanks fellas, today's progress & I've added all the armoured panels to the hull. Fit was very good with just a small amount of clean up on each panel. The three sections around the front are still loose as the glazing needs to be added before fixing to the hull. I might be able to leave these off and fit at the end of the build which would cut down on pesky masking.

There is some nice anti slip cast in the panels as well so that saves another job. I'll spray the interior black before fitting the hull roof permanently as well. Also just discovered that the Greek army now have these so my brain is having a fight now deciding what nationality and colour scheme to do, damn the interweb!!

Really really tempted Paul to be honest BUT I do have another Greek vehicle planned for this year and I want to add all the goodies I have which are specific to US vehicles. May have to get another kit for a Greek version in the future though

More work today and I've started adding new tie downs using Djiti productions resin items. Much better than the kit blobs and easy to add with the help of a decent CA. All the hatches are now fixed in place as is the hull roof. The etched screen on the hull needed some heat first as the etch was very stiff but it shaped up fine. There really is something about this vehicle, it just looks so cool!
